Connective India is a community-driven service marketplace connecting everyday service providers — plumbers, electricians, drivers, and more — with the people who need them, all on a single trusted app. We were commissioned to design and build this dual-sided platform from the ground up, engineering a unique Panchayath-level verification system to ensure every provider on the platform is genuine, and delivering a fully functional app launched simultaneously on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Introduction
Connective India set out to solve a problem every household faces — finding a plumber, electrician, or driver you can actually trust.
Independent service providers were scattered across communities with no unified way to reach customers, and customers had no reliable way to verify who they were letting into their homes. Without a platform, this gap between genuine local talent and the people who needed them remained wide open.
Challenges & Solutions
Trust at Scale
With everyday service providers spread across multiple Panchayaths, the client needed a way to guarantee every provider on the platform was genuine — not just at sign-up, but verified by someone on the ground who could vouch for them directly, before they could ever interact with a customer.
Panchayath-Level Verification System
We designed and built a verification workflow where each Panchayath is assigned a coordinator responsible for vetting new providers. When a provider registers on the app, a 24-hour verification window is triggered, during which the coordinator directly contacts and confirms the person's identity and legitimacy. Only after this check passes can the provider offer services on the platform — building trust directly into the app's architecture rather than leaving it to reviews or guesswork.

To maximise trust and service enquiries, we designed a clear, verification-backed dual path , guiding both providers and receivers from first entry to a confirmed connection with minimal friction.
